Two trial days offer a wonderful opportunity to see your child in action and find out together whether our Phorms concept is the right path for their future at school. On these special days, your child will solve age-appropriate tasks and playfully discover everyday life at our school.
Our decision to participate in the admission process is based on various criteria, such as siblings, transfers from other Phorms schools, language requirements and a balanced ratio of girls and boys.
We also take the time to really get to know your child and your family when admitting them to a higher class level. After reviewing the school reports submitted, we will discuss the next steps with you. By participating in the further admission process, your child can experience lessons in the target class for two days - a great opportunity to get to know the new environment.
At the same time, we will have a personal discussion with you to find out more about your family situation, your wishes for your child and your ideas about working with the school.
We will inform you by e-mail whether we can offer your child a school place. We will also send you the contract documents conveniently by email so that you can sign it digitally. Once the documents have been signed, we look forward to welcoming you and your child to the Phorms family.

Registration is quick and easy—simply complete the online form on our website in just 5 minutes. Once we’ve received the necessary supporting documents and confirmed space availability, the admission process begins, tailored slightly to the specific class level.
Upon signing the school contract, an administration fee equivalent to 2.5 times the monthly school fee is required. For families with an income below €50,000, the administration fee is reduced to the amount of a single monthly fee.
The annual gross income used to determine school fees is based on the combined positive income of both legal guardians from the calendar year before last. Offsetting with negative income is not permitted.
For incomes up to €130,000 per year, proof must be provided through either a tax assessment notice or provisional documents, such as an income tax certificate. For incomes exceeding €130,000, no proof is required.
Families with a gross annual income of less than €50,000 may qualify for reduced tuition fees. This requires legally binding proof of income and financial circumstances to be submitted annually.
The monthly school fees for primary school range from €118 to €519. Additionally, the administration fee is reduced to the amount of a single monthly fee.
In addition to the stated fees, there may be additional costs for teaching and learning materials, mandatory school clothing, excursions, school trips, and any fee-based afternoon classes.
Our scholarship programme recognises outstanding academic and social achievements, supporting students in their continued development. The scholarship is valid for one school year and can provide up to €150 per month.
This opportunity is exclusively available to students at Phorms schools in Berlin who have been enroled with us for at least one year.
Students enjoy a varied and nutritious lunch, freshly prepared by our caterer leckerlogisch. Registration is required to participate in the lunch programme, with costs covered by the Berlin Senate.
For additional catering options, a supplementary contribution of €33 applies.
At Phorms, we value long-term relationships with our families. That’s why we offer a loyalty discount on school fees: 10% discount after 6 years of enrolment and 20% discount after 10 years of enrolment.
The discount is automatically applied to the school fees in euros.
If you register more than one child, you will benefit from our sibling discount.
The full monthly school fee applies to the eldest child. The second eldest receives a 25% discount, the third eldest enjoys a 50% reduction, and the fourth and all subsequent children benefit from a 75% discount on school fees.
In Germany, under certain conditions, parental contributions and support association fees may be deductible as childcare expenses on your tax return. According to Section 10 (1) No. 5 EStG, up to two-thirds of childcare-related expenses—up to a maximum of €4,800 per child—can be deducted, provided the child lives in the taxpayer's household.
Please note that expenses for lessons, private tutoring, sports, or other leisure activities are not tax-deductible. For detailed advice on your individual situation, we recommend consulting your tax advisor.
